CCI Update January 25, 2022

Dear Cross Culture family,

Greetings from Franklin, TN. Lora and I arrived back in the States on December 20, 2021. Many have sent messages wondering if we were in the US or still in Ukraine, and we are grateful for your concern and prayers.

As you probably know, the tension between Ukraine and Russia has increased. US citizens were recently advised to leave Ukraine and a no travel warning is currently in effect. Please keep Ukraine in your prayers that God will work in the hearts and minds of the leaders to bring peace rather than a spreading of the war.

Our classes and small groups are continuing to meet each week and I attend via Zoom. Our Kid’s Class is studying the Armor of God from Ephesians 6 and memorizing the verses each week. Our Young adult small group is studying an overview of the Old Testament covering a book per week. The International Students are studying the Sermon on the Mount. The Gorlovka ladies are all doing well, although in December Luda’s son Timor was wounded on the front lines of the continuing war in the east. His heel was severely wounded, but he is healing well at this point. Please keep Timor and Luda in your prayers.

I recently completed tax letters for all our donors, and you received either an email with the tax letter attached or a physical copy via the USPS. Thanks again for being such faithful ministry partners! We could not do the work without your prayers and support.

We originally planned to return to Ukraine in early March, but we now plan to monitor the situation and will return to Ukraine when the tensions are decreased. Please keep Ukraine, and especially our spiritual family there, in your daily prayers.

Grace and peace,

Kenny
