Apartment Update

Dear Cross Culture family,

               As we approach May 1st and the beginning of the May holiday season in Ukraine, it is time for us to acknowledge that we do not have the required funds to purchase the apartment. Another buyer is eager to purchase the apartment and has told our landlord that they will allow us to continue with our current lease agreement for a year. While this is not a long-term solution to our need for living and ministry space, we are thankful for the opportunity to stay in our current place.   

               We are so grateful to all who prayed for us and who made donations. If you would like your donation for the apartment returned, send me a private message and I will make the necessary arrangements to refund your donation. If we do not hear from donors, we will add the donations received to our general fund to support our ministry.

               This weekend we will have an Easter Retreat at our apartment, including a sunrise service at the Dnieper River. Ukraine celebrates Easter according to the Eastern Orthodox calendar. As the weather warms up and the COVID restrictions are eased, we look forward to May in Kyiv, enjoying the beauty of spring, and meeting again in the park.
